During his search for such a group Barry was introduced to Margaret Kelly a hard working local community volunteer. Margaret has been working with a group of senior residents meeting in the Millennium Community Centre, Belle Vale, a district of Liverpool, not far from Garston Masonic Hall.
The group of 56 senior residents arrived and were greeted by some 20 members, friends and family who meet in Garston Masonic Hall who had given their time to support the event.  Also in attendance was V. W. Bro Michael Clarke Assistant Provincial Grand Master and W.Bro Derek Horrocks the PGMs Special Representative, for the Garston Group of Lodges.
Entertainment was provided by W.Bro David Toller (alto Saxophone) and W.Bro Tommy McLaughlin sang so well he had people up dancing and singing with him.

The meal and drinks had been provided by St George RAM 553. The guests each received a £10 Morrisons gift voucher donated by St George Mark Lodge. A table prize was also donated.
